Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Special Educator with Significant Behavioral Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop individualized positive behavior intervention plan (BIP).
  • Provide ongoing support and training for teachers and staff on behavior management techniques and strategies related to students.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the behavior intervention plan and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop a comprehensive support plan for the student.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and the development of proactive strategies to prevent behavioral issues.
  • Communicate effectively with the family, providing them with resources and guidance to support their child's behavioral development at home.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certification or special education certification.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans.

  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, staff, and families.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.

Additional Duties

  • Assist guidance, pupil services staff, and building administration, as needed.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
