About the role

This position is responsible for providing leadership to teachers and other staff in the areas of curriculum development and behavior. This role will coordinate and conduct training sessions for all classroom staff, conduct observations to evaluate the effectiveness of training and program implementation, develop and present data and information on treatment fidelity, take over duties for an assigned classroom in the absence of a teacher, direct instruction to students to assist teachers in developing skill acquisition programs, administer and manage online database systems (KITE, EZTRAC, IEP DIRECT), and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to teachers and other staff in curriculum development and behavior management
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions for all classroom staff
  • Conduct observations to evaluate the effectiveness of training and program implementation
  • Develop and present data and information on treatment fidelity
  • Take over duties for an assigned classroom in the absence of a teacher
  • Direct instruction to students to assist teachers in developing skill acquisition programs
  • Administer and manage online database systems (KITE, EZTRAC, IEP DIRECT)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including pre-CSE, CSE as needed, parent training, and treatment team meetings
  • Ensure all reports and documentation are presented on time for annual reviews
  • Prepare students for transition to adult services

Requirements

Master's Degree (in Special Education preferred) Completion of coursework and supervision hours, however, we will consider candidates who still need to take the BCBA exam

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) (In Progress)
  • Experience in applied behavior analysis and positive behavior supports
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of special education and behavior analysis principles

Pay

$72,930+/year, based on education and experience
