Essential Functions
Own clinical outcomes for assigned caseload (175–200 hours/week)
Maintain appropriate client progression, goal mastery, and discharge planning
Ensure authorized hours are being effectively utilized
Conduct comprehensive assessments including:
Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
Functional Analyses (as clinically appropriate)
Skills assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, etc.)
Develop individualized, function-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Ensure programming reflects medical necessity and payer requirements
Provide direct oversight of high-acuity cases and crisis scenarios
Continuously analyze data to:
Adjust interventions
Fade supports appropriately
Ensure meaningful progress
Make real-time clinical decisions in-session when needed
Provide ongoing supervision to RBTs/BTs in accordance with BACB requirements
Deliver in-the-moment coaching, modeling, and feedback in sessions
Ensure staff demonstrate:
Treatment fidelity
Proper prompting and reinforcement strategies
Accurate data collection
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification (BACB)
- State licensure (if applicable)
- Minimum 2–3 years ABA experience
- Strong experience with high-acuity behaviors and complex cases
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop staff
About the Role
Our BCBA's are responsible for the clinical oversight and outcomes of a defined caseload, ensuring high-quality, ethical, and data-driven ABA services. This role owns the full clinical lifecycle—from assessment through treatment implementation, staff supervision, and client progress. This position is hands-on and clinic-based, requiring consistent in-person presence to support staff, model clinical skills, and maintain treatment fidelity.
