About the role

The BCBA will lead the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, along with skill acquisition components of treatment within an interdisciplinary approach. They will supervise and oversee all activities associated with the development and implementation of behavior analytic services within the Individual Service Plans.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, along with skill acquisition components of treatment within this framework.
  • Serves in a leadership and supervisory role, managing Behavior Support Specialists (often LBAs in training) while also conducting direct clinical work.
  • Serves as a behavior analysis expert to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
  • Conducts and presents research to internal and external audiences.
  • Serves as a clinical supervisor, implementing ABA themselves but also, training and directly supervising Behavior Support Specialists.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, plus a minimum of two years of related experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, required.
  • BCBA certification required. New Jersey licensure in behavior analysis is required.
  • Prior experience in functional assessment and treatment development is highly preferred.
  • Prior management experience is also preferred.

Pay

$80,340 - $94,666

Schedule

Monday to Friday daytime hours.
