Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Qualifications

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying strategies and developing and implementing positive behavior intervention plans
• Apply data analysis and assessment procedures, including functional behavioral analysis, ecological analysis of settings, and systematic observation
• Manage data collection, assessment, and reporting methods
• Adhere to the processes involved with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) for special education students
• Provide assistance and guidance to school administrators, teachers, and instructional strategists in behavioral intervention procedures
• Respond to all requests from internal and external sources for the purpose of investigating and assisting in resolving student attendance problems
• Maintain documentation of Positive Support Plans, behavior contracts, and interventions and outcomes regarding individual student attendance issues
