Board Certified Behavior Analyst

About the role

Total Spectrum is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality, evidence-based, contemporary Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering person-centered care and a commitment to assent-based treatment.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and supervision of a team of behavior technicians (BTs)
• Mentor and support behavior technicians (BTs) through competency-based training
• Write reports and conduct clinical reviews with funding sources
• Attend monthly regional meetings for ongoing training and supervision
• Conduct regular parent/caregiver trainings for family members
• Treat the safety of clients and others involved in each case as a top priority
• Consult with clients and provide continuous program direction and maintenance
• Analyze data/behavior and make data-based decisions
• Guide ongoing implementation of teaching procedures
• Ensure program directives from senior clinical team are implemented accurately and timely
• Deliver individualized, person-centered care rooted in the principles of assent-based treatment

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher
• BCBA certification or expected to sit for the BCBA exam within the next three months
• Two years of experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
• Certification, registration, and/or license as required by local statutes to deliver behavior treatment
