About the role

The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides clinical oversight and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ensures the delivery of evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in accordance with HHSC requirements. This role involves program analysis and planning, staff training, assessments and coordination, and quality assurance while providing direct services to children and families. The BCBA collaborates with internal MHMR programs and community partners, using trauma-informed practices that promote felt safety, regulation, and family engagement, consistent with MHMR and Child and Family Services missions and values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Ensure delivery of evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
  • Conduct program analysis and planning.
  • Train staff and coordinate assessments.
  • Perform quality assurance activities.
  • Deliver direct services to children and families.
  • Collaborate with internal MHMR programs and community partners.
  • Apply trauma-informed practices to promote felt safety, regulation, and family engagement.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related Health and Human Services field.
  • One (1) year of experience working with children/youth with Autism.
  • Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Texas with a current, unrestricted license.

Preference given to candidates with experience working with children and youth ages 3 to 15 years old.
