About the role
The Clinical BCBA supports patients in the Carmel, IN area by developing and supervising behavior programs and providing training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Responsibilities
- Create and supervise new skill acquisition programs and behavior support plans
- Provide feedback and training to RBTs as needed
- Capture and contrive opportunities to teach staff and patients in the natural environment
- Participate in assessment processes
- Attend and participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and other meetings
- Offer feedback on staff performance reviews
- Assist with new RBT training
- Participate in research and presentation opportunities at local and national conferences
Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s Degree in ABA or related field
- Board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA)
- Experience with behavior guideline development and programming for children with autism
- Strong attention to detail for data collection and report writing
- Positive team player and energetic professional
- Ability to train others in basic principles of ABA, curriculum, programs, etc.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment and creative thinking skills
