About the role
The Clinical BCBA supports patients in the West Lafayette, IN area by developing and supervising behavior programs and collaborating with families and staff.
Responsibilities
- Create and supervise new skill acquisition programs and behavior support plans
- Provide feedback and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Conduct functional assessments and analyses
- Participate in the assessment process
- Attend and participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and other meetings
- Provide information about programming to parents
- Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
- Offer feedback on staff performance reviews
- Assist with new RBT training
- Participate in research and presentation opportunities at local and national conferences
Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
- Experience with behavior guideline development and programming for children with autism
- Strong attention to detail for data collection and report writing
- Positive team player and energetic professional
- Ability to train others in basic principles of ABA, curriculum, programs, etc.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment and creative thinking skills
