Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior support plans.
- Document progress and maintain accurate data records.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective treatment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on best practices in ABA.
- Participate in clinical forums and CEUs.
- Assist in the recruitment and supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Manage caseloads and ensure compliance with billing requirements.
- Participate in safety-caring activities and provide crisis management support.
- Support the implementation of person-centered care and assent-based treatment programming.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- A current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification.
- Experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior intervention planning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of evidence-based ABA interventions such as task analysis, verbal behavior, and functional assessment.
- Experience with natural environment teaching (NET) and antecedent interventions.
- Ability to work in both home and center-based settings.
- Experience with data collection and progress documentation.
- Understanding of child development and behavior principles.
