About the role
The Killingly Board of Education seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior analytic services to students within the district.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make adjustments as necessary
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and other staff on behavior management strategies
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop positive interventions based on assessment results
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
Requirements
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or other severe behavioral challenges
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- CT Certification (if applicable)
