Board Certified Behavior Analyst

About the role

The Killingly Board of Education seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior analytic services to students within the district.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students
• Evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make adjustments as necessary
• Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and other staff on behavior management strategies
• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop positive interventions based on assessment results
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students

Requirements

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders or other severe behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• CT Certification (if applicable)

• Proficiency in data collection and analysis
