Key Responsibilities of a BCBA

  • Conduct comprehensive behavior assessments to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide direct and indirect supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians and other team members.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to promote a consistent approach across environments.

Qualifications for a Successful BCBA

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field with 2 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in a multidisciplinary team setting, preferred
  • Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in developing behavior intervention plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients and teams.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and client-centered care.
