Performance Responsibilities
- Designs, monitors, and evaluates individual student instructional programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and provides written protocols for instruction and behavior management.
- Establishes effective data collection and graphing systems; analyzes data and trains staff in appropriate data collection and analysis methods.
- Counsults with staff, students, and families to develop appropriate instructional and behavioral goals.
- Maintains confidential records and documentation of services in accordance with district and legal requirements.
- Maintains current professional knowledge of developments in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Serves as a professional resource to teachers, pupil services staff, and administrators regarding effective instructional and behavioral supports for students.
Qualifications
- Current certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
- A Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities preferred.
