Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Position Details

Position: Full-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Schedule: Approximately 7:40 a.m.–3:00 p.m., following the elementary school day (approximately 37.5 hours per week)

Initial Placement: Elementary school support, beginning with two identified classrooms

Provider Rate of Pay: $75–$85 per hour

Setting: School-based, with opportunities to provide broader district-level behavioral services as needed

Scope of Services

The BCBA will provide comprehensive behavioral support at the classroom, student, and district levels.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
• Providing support related to Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs)
• Developing, reviewing, and updating individualized behavior plans
• Providing behavioral consultation to students, teachers, and school teams
• Conducting classroom observations and identifying behavioral patterns and needs
• Reviewing and analyzing behavioral data to monitor progress and inform interventions
• Coaching and collaborating with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff
• Providing behavioral support related to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Supporting consistent implementation of evidence-based behavioral strategies
• Participating in school-based meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Providing broader district-level behavioral consultation and services as needed

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or a related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing ABA therapy or behavioral services, preferably in an educational setting
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing and implementing behavior plans
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based ABA practices and behavioral interventions
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work effectively with students, teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to compassionate, ethical, and individualized care

Key Responsibilities

• Congducting functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) to identify the function of challenging behaviors
• Developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on FBA results
• Providing direct ABA therapy and behavioral support to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques and strategies
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans
• Training and coaching school staff on ABA principles and behavioral strategies
• Collecting and analyzing data to monitor student progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
• Providing consultation and support related to IEP behavioral goals and services
• Participating in MDRs and other school-based behavioral processes as needed
• Observing classrooms and providing recommendations to promote positive student outcomes
• Supporting district-level behavioral initiatives and services as needed
