Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments including functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill-based assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS)
- Develop individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans in alignment with best practices and payer requirements
- Provide clinical supervision and performance feedback to Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in accordance with BACB guidelines
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including treatment plans, session notes, progress reports, and insurance authorizations
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and team members to ensure generalization and maintenance of learned skills
- Provide caregiver training and support to promote skill development outside of structured sessions
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and agency initiatives
- Ensure ethical and professional conduct in accordance with the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey if applicable
- Minimum of one year of experience developing and implementing ABA programs preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations as needed
- Must pass background checks including criminal history and abuse registry screenings
