About the Role
We need a self-starter who takes pride in their workspace and naturally keeps themselves busy. If you are the type of person who finishes a task and immediately looks for the "next thing" without needing to be micro-managed, you will thrive here. Our ideal candidate exhibits a "see it, own it" mentality.
Responsibilities
- Support our master BMW technicians by maintaining an elite, efficient, and hazard-free environment.
- Kick off and wrap up the day by clearing trash, scrap metal, and cardboard from technician bays, ensuring the shop is instantly ready for business.
- Utilize our floor scrubbing machinery to keep high-traffic central aisles pristine; wipe down walls, poles, and toolbox exteriors.
- Safely handle and dispose of waste oil, oil filters, and fluid containers following safety guidelines.
- Absorb downtime by assisting tire technicians with organizing scrap tires and returning battery cores to the Parts Department storage racks.
- Stay productive by restocking consumables, organizing shop supplies, and seeking new ways to streamline workflow.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to routinely lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, professional, and punctual with a team-first attitude.
