BMW Master Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BMW Master Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics, with a strong focus on BMW vehicles. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while performing high-quality repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on BMW vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize advanced automotive diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues related to automotive electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, and more.
- Carry out vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, alignments, and general repairs using hand tools and power tools.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in the repair process effectively.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimates for necessary repairs and services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engine repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician, preferably with a focus on BMW vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hand-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the ability to work with complex electrical systems and perform repairs on various components such as powertrain and transmissions.
- Experience with alignment procedures and the use of diagnostic equipment is essential.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are advantageous.
- Must possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
