About the role
This position provides attentive, non-medical care to an elderly client residing in an assisted living facility in Bluffton, SC.Responsibilities
- Maintain client safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night, responding promptly to any needs that arise
- Provide overnight care and support, including assistance with grooming, dressing, bathing, and ADLs
- Deliver compassionate, specialized care for a Dementia client
- Issue medication reminders according to each client’s prescribed schedule
- Accurately document all overnight care services, including care notes, ADLs, and incident reports
Requirements
- Previous caregiver experience required
- Genuine availability and reliability for overnight shifts
- Ability to stay calm, focused, professional, and responsive during nighttime hours and in emergency situations
- Caring, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent care
- Strong communication skills, judgment, professionalism, and clear documentation of overnight observations
