About the Role

As a Blue Yonder TMS (Transportation Management) Consultant, you will contribute to, develop, and grow our Fulfillment business for the BY TMS platform. You will lead the overall workstream delivery of a customer's Transportation capability, collaborating with Solution Architects, Delivery Leads, and Technical Architects. This role involves working with cross-functional teams and serving as a key contributor to communications between program delivery leads, customer stakeholders, and IT teams. You will present business processes, solutions, and program status to various audiences, including executive project sponsors, and influence the adoption of industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the customer journey throughout discovery, design, construction, testing, deployment, and hypercare focused on transportation capabilities.
  • Lead functional design and integration of future state capabilities using a suite of products, including Blue Yonder Transportation Planning, Transportation Modeling, Load Builder, and other complementary solutions.
  • Facilitate customer change management leveraging industry best practices and process methodologies.
  • Design and develop solutions to close gaps between customer requirements where functionality does not exist in out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Serve as an overall solution owner, attending and contributing to key meetings between Project Managers, Technical Architects, key customer contacts, and customer users.
  • Provide support to the project team, including quality assurance/design review, environment configuration, batch operations consulting, troubleshooting, and system testing.
  • Work with Blue Yonder Support Services to ensure environment readiness and proactively resolve customer issues.
  • Guide and conduct user acceptance testing and training sessions for end users as project demands dictate.
  • Work with the Cloud service team to ensure a seamless transition to the Blue Yonder Steady State team.
  • Support the Transportation Segment Lead in client discovery, origination, and solutioning of client needs during sales cycles.
  • Travel may be required for this role, varying from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise-level solution design, configuration, deployments, and cloud integrations working with the Blue Yonder Transportation Management Suite or a similar platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent (minimum 6 years of work experience).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of functional transportation processes and translation of functional requirements into configuration with the Blue Yonder Transportation Management suite.
  • Experience in business requirements gathering, user story development, and translating requirements to development teams.
  • Experience delivering transportation programs for clients.
  • Transportation functional knowledge (including tariffs, routes, freight bill and audit, etc.) and process design.
  • Unit, system integration, and functional testing experience.

Pay

Compensation varies depending on location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Below are the annual salary ranges for this role in various U.S. locations:

  • California: $70,350 to $196,000
  • Cleveland: $59,100 to $156,800
  • Colorado: $63,800 to $169,300
  • District of Columbia: $68,000 to $180,300
  • Illinois: $59,100 to $169,300
  • Maine: $54,400 to $144,300
  • Maryland: $63,800 to $169,300
  • Massachusetts: $63,800 to $180,300
  • Minnesota: $63,800 to $169,300
  • New York: $66,300 to $196,000
  • New Jersey: $68,000 to $196,000
  • Virginia: $59,100 to $180,300
  • Washington: $80,200 to $180,300
