Blue Tide Assistant Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive quality customer service through daily management of employees and site initiatives.
• Effectively answer all customer questions and resolve complaints.
• Promote and sell membership packages and car-wash upgrades.
• Provide staff leadership and direction; train and coach employees to promote and up-sell memberships and deliver quality customer service.
• Maintain site cleanliness, equipment operation, and quality wash service.
• Perform visual inspections of the tunnel and equipment room to ensure equipment and chemicals are functioning properly; conduct routine preventative maintenance.
• Order parts, chemicals, products, and supplies as needed; ensure accurate inventory.
• Perform daily bookkeeping procedures, cash reconciliation, and deposit procedures.
• Assist with hiring and retention efforts for the site team.
• Ensure proper staffing and scheduling for the assigned location.
• Assist with training and development of staff.
• Address employee performance issues; coach and recognize good performance.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding company documents, passwords/codes, keys, and overall site security.
• Enforce and maintain a high level of safety for customers and employees; report potential hazards and accidents/injuries.
• Understand, follow, and enforce all general rules, company policies, and procedures.
• Work flexible hours/shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays; additional hours as needed to manage/support site operations.

Requirements

• One to two years of previous management experience in a retail or customer service environment.
• Proven ability to build strong and effective teams.
• Degree or certification preferred.
• Strong technological skills preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Good accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 pounds alone.
• Regular use of a ladder.
• Physical stamina to work long hours and have physical mobility to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, reach, and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Required to maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Must maintain personal liability coverage on own vehicle.
