About the role

NorthStar Anesthesia is excited to bring its expertise to Salem, VA. The new facility is Blue Ridge Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center specializing in same-day outpatient procedures. We are seeking experienced anesthesiologists with regional anesthesia skills and experience in the ambulatory surgery center setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform anesthesia services for various surgical specialties including GI, Ortho, Opthalmology, Gyn, General, ENT, Podiatry, Urology, Peds
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes
• Manage preoperative assessments and postoperative care
• Participate in medical director responsibilities

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
• Experience in ambulatory surgery center settings
• Regional anesthesia skills

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice medicine in Virginia
• Passing score on the USMLE or COMLEX

Pay

$550,000 Salary (4, 10s), plus $25,000 Medical Director Stipend, $90,000 SOB. 10 weeks PTO.
