About the role

Under the direction of the BluCar Operations Manager, the BluCar Facility Manager leads yard staff to achieve customer service goals and ensures BluCar processes are implemented and followed for all yard functions. Reporting to the General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager, this role facilitates a unique customer experience by maintaining best practices that align with company policy, quality, and service expectations. The position involves working in various climates, including extreme heat or cold, and both indoor and outdoor environments. Travel to DFW for training is required.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, develop, and motivate staff members
• Ensure performance meets company standards
• Manage employee scheduling, time, and attendance
• Handle cash, including daily bank deposits
• Monitor and manage yard inventory, including purchasing as needed
• Conduct performance reviews according to company schedules
• Plan and lead meetings per company standards
• Manage vendor contracts, including certificates of insurance
• Monitor and maintain yard fence, facility, and equipment
• Complete all job tasks for positions supervised
• Ensure compliance with company equipment and safety requirements
• Work on mechanical problems present on vehicles
• Resolve employee and customer service issues
• Travel as needed

Requirements

• Three (3) years of general outside operation management or equivalent experience
• High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred)
• Computer proficiency (MS Office Suite)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to hire, train, develop, and motivate employees
• Strong customer service skills
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
• Fluency in reading and writing English
• Basic accounting and inventory management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple processes
• Conflict management skills
• Ability to differentiate color
• Valid driver’s license
• Bilingual skills are a plus

$31.89 per hour
