Blow Mold Packer - 3rd Shift

About the role

As a Blow Mold Packer at our Mars, PA facility, you will inspect and pack plastic bottles, monitor automated equipment, and support smooth production flow. This position operates on a schedule of 11:30 PM to 7:40 AM, Sunday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Lift and transport bundles of corrugated bulk containers filled with plastic bottles, assemble them into grouped boxes, and secure them with twine.
• Inspect plastic bottles for defects such as holes, surface lines, or water spots, and pack all approved bottles into boxes.
• Monitor automated machinery to prevent operational jams.
• Notify the supervisor of any defective bottles or equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure conveyor belts remain clear of excess bottles.
• Operate the bagger machine as required.
• Alert appropriate personnel when additional raw materials are needed.
• Track the number of bottles produced during each shift.
• Accurately label boxes or bags with the correct date and shift identification, following designated color-coding requirements.
• Support departmental inventory activities and perform routine record-keeping tasks.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and always changing environment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to work safely.
• Must be able to work in a chemical environment (bleach, ammonia).

Pay

$19.57 per hour + $2 shift differential for working 3rd shift.

Schedule

11:30 PM to 7:40 AM, Sunday to Thursday.
