Bloomberg Finance Instructor

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and write a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with educational standards and integrates Bloomberg terminals functions into lessons on financial markets, equities, fixed income, commodities, and economic indicators.
• Provide hands-on instruction to help students navigate and analyze real-time financial data.
• Manage and organize all aspects of the newly created Bloomberg Lab Design projects in case studies that stimulate real world financial decision making.
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
• Foster critical thinking, financial literacy, and career readiness skills among students.
• Stay updated on financial trends and integrate current market developments into instruction.
• Responsible for preparing other teachers in the building.

Key Skills/Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Must have experience with Bloomberg terminal or other financial data platforms
• Taught experience preferred but industry professionals with a passion for education are encouraged to apply
• Strong curriculum development, communication, and analytical skills
• Expertise in Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification experience and financial markets, banking or investment analysis
• Familiarity with high school education standards and instructional design
