Qualifications

  • Ability to generate correspondence accurately and independently
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

Skills

  • Establish, maintain, and monitor accurate, neat and efficient electronic and manual filing systems
  • Prepare/compose/design letters, memoranda, reports, bulletins, handbooks, agendas, brochures, Board information, spreadsheets, data, vacancy notices, requisitions, and various other correspondence
  • Sort information for efficient distribution to appropriate recipients
  • Receive and handle telephone calls and messages
  • Greet and receive visitors
  • Schedule, conduct and report background checks/fingerprints
  • Handle routine correspondence independently
  • Input information into and retrieve information from computer, applications and software
  • Be proficient in using all applications/software used in central office including but not limited to: ASEOP, Applitrack, G-Suite, Background Check software, ODE licensing system
  • Arrange conferences, meetings, and room reservations for central office staff as requested
  • Manage the process to reserve meeting space at the central office and lead securing off-site space for meetings and/or conferences as needed through the county FMX system and other partners
  • Promote excellent public relations by personal appearance, appropriate attire, attitude, and conversation
  • Provides assistance to other ESC staff
  • Attend meetings and in-services as required for personal and professional development
  • Handle confidential information with complete security
  • Embolies high ethical standards and integrity
  • Accepts responsibility for decisions and conduct
  • Complies with policies and procedures established by the Fairfield County ESC
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent/Designee
