Blood Volunteer Driver

About the role

The American Red Cross New Jersey Region is seeking volunteers across New Jersey. Blood Volunteer Drivers are typically assigned to the nearest blood distribution center, with locations in Fairfield, Princeton, Delran, Pennsauken, and Tinton Falls. As a Blood Volunteer Driver, you'll play an important role in supporting local hospitals and the patients who rely on blood for critical medical needs. Volunteer drivers are needed throughout New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Deliver blood and blood products to local hospitals.
• Transport supplies to blood collection sites.
• Serve as a caring and professional representative of the Red Cross.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Comfortable lifting up to 45‑pound transport boxes.
• Dependable, compassionate, and passionate about helping others.

Schedule

This flexible volunteer opportunity requires approximately 5‑10 hours per month and offers both regularly scheduled shifts and on‑demand opportunities that fit your schedule.
