Volunteer Responsibilities
- Aid with blood donor registration
- Maintain appointment flow
- Maintain the canteen
- Monitor for reactions
- Assist with appointment reminders
- Future registrations
Commitment Details
Blood Donor Ambassador shifts are posted in advance and are typically 6 - 8 hours long.
Project Details
- Volunteers must be 16+ years old
- Must complete training shifts and two or more blood drive shifts a month for at least three months
- Must be an excellent communicator with a service mindset
- Must be flexible to adapt to the changing needs of the blood drive throughout the day
