About the Role

As a Precision Technician, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of friction manufacturing equipment, including IAG Press, high variety finish lines, robotic bagger, robotic press, ADB Compound, ADB Finish Line unloader, and other assigned duties. You’ll work alongside a team of problem-solvers to make a tangible impact in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety rules and using required PPE daily; keep work area clean and report discrepancies immediately.
• Inspect all equipment prior to use and report any issues.
• Inspect product for quality; investigate and correct unacceptable products, and notify leadership.
• Accurately record all scrap data.
• Demonstrate proper machine operation per standard work requirements.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions and directions from leadership to produce quality products.
• Accurately enter computer data for job tickets, production logs, and other requirements.
• Maintain and utilize 5S Standards and machine standard condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete PMs and autonomous maintenance as required.
• Produce required daily work quantity and adjust pace to meet deadlines.
• Perform other assigned duties in alignment with company values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certification required.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience required; 5+ years preferred.
• Successful completion of basic skills test, drug screens, background screens, and physical demands testing.
• Solid reading, writing, and mathematics skills, including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• High level of precision and ability to read and interpret precise measuring instruments.
• Strong teamwork and computer skills.

Other Requirements

• Physical lifting of up to 50 lbs. repetitively (up to 1200 times in an 8-hour shift).
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, lift, carry, and perform overhead movements.
• Ability to work in a heated environment and climb stairs multiple times per day.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Note: Cashew is present in the facility.
