About the role
Ascentek provides an environment where employees can love what they do and be their best every day. This is a Full-time, 2nd Shift position (Monday-Thursday, 3:30 pm - 01:30 am) with the option to work some Fridays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Produce oil blends for various products using small and large-scale mixing and fluid-handling equipment.
- Operate Forklift safely and efficiently, and maintain accurate inventory through the warehouse management system.
- Attend informational, training, safety, and compliance meetings as scheduled.
- Work any of the three shifts in the Golden Valley Blending as assigned, with flexibility in hours.
- Follow written instructions on the Blending Work Order (WO) to produce various blended products.
- Gather raw materials needed for blending a product per work order and blending work instructions.
- Prepare samples and work cross-functionally with the Quality Control Lab to gain approval before completing WO and moving the product to the next stage.
- Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.
- Receive materials and place them into inventory from trucks and railcars using a computerized warehouse management system.
- Utilize all material handling equipment safely, efficiently, and perform all required safety checks, and communicate the need for repairs.
- Pack bulk material as required by a WO for replenishment orders.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Blending Manager/Lead & QC Lab.
- Attend monthly departmental and production meetings.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience blending materials using precise measurements and methods.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems on the production line as they occur.
- Understand KPMs and manufacturing packaging line processes.
- Understand general Quality & Safety Awareness.
- Understand Lean Principles.
- Read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Basic mathematical abilities.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Inventory Management System (JDE) knowledge.

- High School Diploma or GED.

Pay
