About the role

You will operate and maintain blending processes to produce PTFE-based blends that meet quality and safety standards. You will impact production throughput and product quality while working closely with the Value Stream Team Lead and Maintenance. This is an onsite role with a 3rd-shift schedule (11:30 PM–7:30 AM), Monday–Friday, with mandatory overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Stage raw materials for blending operations using FIFO practices
• Blend PTFE and Isopar according to specified instructions and pour blends through screens into jugs
• Weigh and tag jugs, enter blend data into WW3, and brush off excess material
• Transfer jugs to the hot room and stage for extrusion; return empty jugs for cleaning and wash on rotation
• Change Isopar filters and unload PTFE from delivery to the cold room
• Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and follow 5S and safety practices
• Monitor equipment and report production or safety issues to the Direct Lead/Value Stream Team Lead
• Perform related duties and work of equal or lower classification as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Comfortable with 3rd-shift schedule and mandatory overtime; guaranteed 40 hours/week
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, squatting)
• Basic computer skills and the ability to enter production data into systems (WW3)
• Attention to detail and continuous alertness to product quality and machine sounds
• Good verbal communication and the ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior production or manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or similar continuous improvement practices
• Strong math, reading, and decision-making skills

Pay

$19.20 - $24.00/hour
