Position Overview As our Blaster, you will directly lead or assist in the design, layout, preparation and detonation of blasts at customer locations to meet the established customer requirements while ensuring safety and compliance on the job.

Responsibilities

• While carrying out daily responsibilities safety and compliance must be the first priority.
• Ability to develop the blast plan for the job site to maximize blast performance to meet customer requirements.
• Conduct or participate in blast crew meetings to coordinate responsibilities and address safety protocols.
• Work with blast crew to verify performance, providing feedback as needed.
• Review drill logs to verify drill pattern.
• Load explosives in blast holes by hand, direct drivers to load holes from bulk trucks.
• Verify completion of pre-blast inspections to ensure a safe blast area and successful detonation.
