About the Role
This job entails working in a fast-paced production environment. Main tasks include operation of blast equipment, cleaning, deburring, and protecting parts for blast/paint/shipping, as well as operation of forklifts and overhead cranes.
Responsibilities
- Operate blast equipment to clean parts for NDE inspection and surface preparation for paint application.
- Clean, deburr, and protect parts for blast/paint according to engineering drawings.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (up to 15 tons).
- Prepare parts for shipment.
- Maintain general cleanliness of work areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic discipline aptitude/attitude.
- Must be able to pass Blueprint Reading course (provided by Voith).
