Blast Operator

About the Role

This job entails working in a fast-paced production environment. Main tasks include operation of blast equipment, cleaning, deburring, and protecting parts for blast/paint/shipping, as well as operation of forklifts and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Operate blast equipment to clean parts for NDE inspection and surface preparation for paint application.
• Clean, deburr, and protect parts for blast/paint according to engineering drawings.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (up to 15 tons).
• Prepare parts for shipment.
• Maintain general cleanliness of work areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic discipline aptitude/attitude.
• Must be able to pass Blueprint Reading course (provided by Voith).
