Paid training at $17/hour. Training Academy begins Friday, September 4th. Classes are Mon-Fri, your choice between 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm.

About the role

Deal blackjack and other table games in a fun and rewarding environment. Create and maintain a fun, entertaining, party atmosphere for extended periods while providing the best service experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations, approved internal controls, and company policies.
  • Greet each guest with a bright, genuine smile and enthusiastic verbal greeting.
  • Control pace and protection of the game; inform the Supervisor of any request or unusual play.
  • Generate fun and excitement at all times while communicating with guests.
  • Exchange cash for gaming chips according to established procedures.
  • Change over deck of cards or dice, inspect and mix cards.
  • Verify bank roll fills with the supervisor and security personnel.
  • Maintain continuous inspection of cards or dice; ensure betting complies with game rules and minimums.
  • Close game, sort cards, balance rack, count chips, and sign off with the supervisor.
  • Assist guests with questions on casino activities or refer to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous live casino dealing experience or completion of an approved training course in card and dice games.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent math skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must consistently meet appearance and uniform standards for the position.
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate cards.
  • Able to stand, reach, bend, twist, turn, grab, grip, sort, and stack for extended periods.
  • Able to maneuver between floors via stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
  • Must tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, strong odors, dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
  • Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
  • Access to gaming floor required.

Pay

Starting pay during training: $17/hour. Earning potential increases after completing the training program.

Schedule

Training classes are Mon-Fri with a choice of 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm.
