About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans based on district and state curriculum standards.
• Assess student learning through various methods and provide feedback to improve academic performance.
• Instruct students in assigned grade levels and/or subject areas according to district and state guidelines.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance educational programs and resources.
• Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to meet individual student needs.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR eligibility to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
• Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR eligibility to obtain an alternative teaching credential.

Skills

• Ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using technology tools to enhance teaching and learning.
