BLACKFOOT PAIN SPECIALISTS - REGISTERED NURSE

About the role

Pain management nurses work closely with patients to monitor the severity and timing of pain in order to treat it effectively. They must have excellent communication with the patient and family and maintain treatment notes to watch for signs of abuse or other symptoms.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with patients to monitor and treat pain effectively
• Communicate with patients and families about pain management plans
• Maintain detailed treatment notes to monitor for signs of abuse or other symptoms
• Coordinate care across multiple medical facilities if needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with a current RN license in the state of Idaho
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a registered nurse
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Conscious sedation course certification required within 6 months of hire

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Certification: Current RN license in the state of Idaho
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as a registered nurse
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Additional certification: Conscious sedation course within 6 months of hire
