Black and Jewish Leadership Fellow (Atlanta)
Role Description
BJLT is seeking college student leaders in the Atlanta area to participate in our exclusive Fall 2026 Leadership Fellowship. This cohort-based experience will bring together emerging Black and Jewish leaders to explore the history of Black-Jewish partnership, engage in meaningful dialogue across communities, develop leadership skills, and work collaboratively to address contemporary challenges including antisemitism, anti-Black racism, and division on college campuses. Participants will build lasting relationships with peers, engage directly with Atlanta's civil rights history, participate in leadership development programming, and collaborate on a culminating project.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college and interested in leadership, social justice, community engagement, or interfaith/interracial dialogue.
- Passionate about strengthening relationships between Black and Jewish communities.
- Curious about the history of the Civil Rights Movement and its relevance today.
- Comfortable engaging in difficult but constructive conversations.
- Committed to taking what they learn and turning it into action on their campuses and in their communities.
- No prior experience with Black-Jewish dialogue or leadership programming is required. We are looking for students who bring curiosity, commitment, and a genuine desire to build bridges.

- Sunday, October 25, 2026 | 11:00 AM–5:00 PM — Leadership Forum
- Sunday, November 8, 2026 | 3:00–7:00 PM — Capstone Closing Dinner
Compensation
Each student participant will receive a $400 stipend upon successful completion of the program and all required program components.
