About the role

The Business Operations & Strategy team is seeking a strategic leader to accelerate and streamline Decagon's enterprise go-to-market motion. Reporting to the Founder’s Office, this role will work closely with the GTM team to close deals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and refining Decagon's pricing and packaging strategy
  • Building and scaling internal commercial processes as the company grows
  • Collecting and analyzing pricing and deal data to shape high-level company strategy
  • Owning end-to-end deal structuring for enterprise opportunities, partnering directly with account executives and sales leaders to build proposals and drive deals to close

Responsibilities

  • Work to develop and refine Decagon's pricing and packaging strategy

  • Collect and analyze pricing and deal data to shape high level company strategy

Requirements

Qualifications for this role include:

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting / investment banking / investing / high-velocity startups
  • Deep curiosity and desire to solve hard problems
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you shape solutions as much as you implement them
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator - you've worked regularly with finance and legal teams
  • Strong communicator - both verbal and written

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience building or scaling a deal desk function at a high-growth or early-stage company
  • Previously led implementation of a CPQ platform
  • Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models in addition to traditional SaaS subscription structures
  • SQL or other data analytics experience
