Bivocational Pastor

About the role

New Harvest Baptist Church in Dover, Delaware seeks a pastor to lead a congregation of about 60 active, outreach‑minded members. The church, founded in 2013, focuses on evangelism, missions, and feeding members with God’s love. It consists primarily of seniors with a few young adults, has growing Sunday School (over 50% attendance), active small groups and mission‑based groups, and meets in a rented facility while working toward acquiring its own property. An interim pastor is currently serving while the church seeks a permanent pastor.

Requirements

Candidates should appreciate the conservative, Bible‑based needs of the congregation, complement and promote the church’s desire to reach the community, and be able to develop new ministries to bring the Gospel to the lost.
