Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with approved menus and recipes
- Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the Dietary department to ensure dietary restrictions and preferences are met
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant, catering, or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including knives and other tools
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
