Responsibilities
- Contribute to food service operations by assisting in all operations related to the kitchen including preparation, cooking, and storage of food.
- Sanitize and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Prepare dishes according to the restaurant's standards with creativity and adherence to customer-specific dietary requirements.
- Deliver food products according to the restaurant's standards.
- Work shifts including days, nights, and weekends as required to support business operations.
- Assist with special requests from guests.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of cooking experience in a high volume restaurant or bistro environment required.
- 2+ years of cooking experience a plus!
- Knowledge of sanitation, cooking methods, and knife skills.
- Culinary Arts Degree and Local Board of Health ServSafe Certification preferred.
Pay
The hiring range for this position is $20.81 to $26.01 hourly. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
Schedule
This is a 24/7 operation, so holiday coverage is required with the exception of Christmas. Flexibility is offered to take alternate days off when holidays are worked.
