About the Department: Site New Hampshire, located in West Lebanon, is where Novo Nordisk’s life-saving treatments are brought to life. Our manufacturing facility produces a global supply of hemophilia and growth hormone product lines, as well as our next generation of cutting-edge medications.

About the Role

Our team of Manufacturing Technicians is looking for a new colleague to join the recovery and purification process of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for the medicine we produce. The role involves working closely with engineers, scientists, process associates, facilities support, QA, and other stakeholders to improve and simplify processes. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position centered around production activities in a fully gowned, clean manufacturing environment.

We seek a team player who is curious, energetic, and engaged, with a can-do attitude toward collaboration and adaptability. The role offers opportunities to develop production skills through training and hands-on experience, as well as involvement in optimizing standards and structures.

Schedule

This role is based onsite at our West Lebanon, NH bioproduction facility with the following schedule:

  • Week 1: 7AM–7PM Thursday, Friday, Saturday
  • Week 2: 7AM–7PM Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

The first 3–4 weeks will consist of training in our Manufacturing Technician "bootcamp" (Monday–Friday, 8AM–4:30PM) before transitioning to the Back End Days schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product manufacturing and support activities
  • Complete routine documentation associated with product manufacture
  • Support in-process activities and product development as instructed
  • Incorporate pre-planned process improvements and cost-reduction programs
  • Perform equipment and process validations per validation procedures
  • Conduct in-process product testing per standard procedures
  • Work in cleanroom areas requiring full gowning (hairnet, beard cover, frocks/coveralls, shoe covers, snood, face mask, sterile gloves) and strict adherence to GMP processes
  • Follow cleanroom protocols, including restrictions on food/drink, jewelry, cosmetics, nail acrylics, perfume, and personal electronics
  • Support manufacturing activities in other departments as directed
  • Perform all duties in compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes
  • Incorporate the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials into all activities and interactions

Requirements

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or Associate Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant manufacturing experience, or
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a science discipline with zero (0) years of experience

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of cGMP operations (preferred)
  • Ability to understand and execute written instructions

Physical Requirements

  • 0–10% overnight travel
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, reach, stand, and walk
  • Ability to push, lift, grasp, finger, and feel
  • Ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal/written communication
  • Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
  • Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds
  • Visual acuity for reading, writing, and detailed analysis
  • Exposure to noise, moving parts, chemicals, odors, fumes, and dust
