Biostatistics Director

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Biostatistics Director to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This leader will guide the organization’s statistical strategy across research initiatives, with a strong emphasis on registry-based and observational data. The role will oversee biostatistical analysis, support study design, and help ensure evidence generated from complex datasets can be translated into meaningful scientific and operational decisions. You will also partner closely with researchers and internal stakeholders while leading a team of analysts and biostatisticians.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical analyses to inform research using patient registry data
• Provide statistical expertise for real-world research study design
• Disseminate findings through presentations and publication collaborations
• Evaluate external research proposals for access to registry data
• Oversee and support a team of biostatisticians and data analysts
• Enhance registry data through improvements and data linkage

Qualifications

• MPH or MS in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Demography, or a similar quantitative field required
• PhD or DSc in a related quantitative field preferred
• 10+ years of relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience managing staff
• Expertise in secondary data analysis, including longitudinal modeling and causal inference
• Experience with registries or large observational datasets
• Proficiency in SAS and R, with knowledge of SQL

Pay

$170,800 – $213,400 annually
