Biostatistician Sr.
Position Summary
Collaborate with investigators, Epidemiologists and other biostatisticians on research projects with primary responsibility for the statistical design, analysis and presentation of study results. Contribute to statistical analysis sections of IRB and grant applications, developing and executing statistical programs to perform analyses and prepare data displays, drafting analysis and results sections for clinical study reports and scientific papers, and supporting general publication of study findings. Function largely independently in addressing clinical/translational research study design and analysis needs with clinical investigators, seeking appropriate consultation from the director of Epidemiology/Biostatistics and designees.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in epidemiology, biostatistics or related scientific field required. One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience required.
- Strong quantitative skills as well as excellent written and verbal skills
- Advanced knowledge in programming reproducible statistical code using STATA, SAS, R or other statistical software
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with scientific and clinical researchers in an academic setting preferred
Pay
Minimum 33.70/hour - Maximum 53.93/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
