Biostatistician III

About the role

This is a 100% remote, 1-year contract position supporting the PULSEcheck initiative. You will partner with cross-functional study teams to monitor ongoing clinical trials, review accumulating data, and generate timely, data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all statistical planning, execution, and data monitoring across Phase I–III clinical programs.
• Direct internal and external programming efforts and analyze complex clinical trial datasets.
• Evaluate predefined PULSEcheck criteria, conduct exploratory and interim analyses, and identify emerging trends or risks.
• Serve as primary statistical support to enhance trial oversight while maintaining rigorous scientific standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, study statisticians, and programmers to drive informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or Epidemiology.
• 5–7 years of biostatistician experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proven track record as the primary statistician on at least one NDA/BLA submission.
• Demonstrated experience preparing analysis programs for Phase I–III clinical trials.
• Strong expertise in statistical programming using R (SAS knowledge is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial design and drug development regulations pertinent to statistical analysis.
