Responsibilities
- Design experiments and interpret large datasets.
Qualifications
- Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
- OR Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
- To qualify at the ZP-IV level: In addition to the basic requirements above, applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-12 level (ZP-III at NIST) or equivalent.
- Specialized experience is defined as experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Experience in stem cell and other cell culture process,
- Experience in cell culture process control measurements for cell expansion and bioprocess control,
- Experience in cellular measurement methods including microscopy, flow cytometry, RNA and DNA screen tools,
- Experience bioprocessing laboratories management and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
