Biopharmaceutical Associate

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare, batch, pasteurize, filter, and deliver media and solutions for cell culture and purification operations.
• Set up, operate, clean, and break down process equipment.
• Perform sampling procedures using analytical instruments to analyze cell culture solutions and product concentration characteristics.
• Operate filter integrity equipment to confirm the integrity of filters before and after use.
• Monitor and trend process operations, equipment, and instruments to proactively identify and escalate issues.
• Set up fixed and mobile process equipment with CIP (Clean In Place) skids to execute validated cleaning and sterilization processes.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols, and batch records to perform operations safely and document accurately.
• Adhere to safety policies and actively identify and address unsafe behaviors or conditions.

Skills & Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• An associate's or bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing is ideal.
• Strong adherence to safety procedures and good documentation practices.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain data integrity.
• Willingness to work 24/7 rotating shifts.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding).
• Familiarity with automation systems, digital platforms, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
