About the role
These positions are as-needed opportunities offering flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. You will be sent to local companies within your area to perform biometric health screenings for employees.
Responsibilities
- Perform and record biometric testing results including height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI
- Conduct blood testing including fingerstick and/or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare specimens for storage or additional processing
- Set up and break down portable blood draw/biometric station(s)
- Transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs)
- Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR one of the following:
- Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
- Active state specific Phlebotomy certification (required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA, WA, and LA)
- Minimum of 200 successful venipunctures within the last year (preferably within the last 6 months) and/or 100 fingersticks performed in the last year
- Ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff without assistance
- Morning availability (Monday–Friday) for event-based employment
- Reliable transportation and computer/internet savvy
- Ability to pass a full background check

Pay
Estimated compensation for the posted area is $27–$35 per hour. Geographic location, role at the event, and other factors may influence pay.
Schedule
- PRN, event-driven position
- Mainly weekday mornings
- Flexible, as-needed scheduling
