What You Will Do
- Play a key role in maintaining and repairing critical patient care equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety throughout the healthcare system
- Support the development of junior technicians and help enhance our department's capabilities
- Complete all assigned preventive maintenance (PM) for the current and prior months, following work orders and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain accurate PM program documentation in accordance with department policies
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of medical equipment using test equipment and service manuals
- Ensure all repaired equipment is thoroughly safety-checked and documented
- Calibrate and repair complex patient care devices
- Provide guidance and technical assistance to Biomedical Technician I team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
