Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of complex biomedical equipment
- Collaborate with medical and clinical staff on the safe operation and use of clinical equipment
- Develop specifications for new clinical equipment
- Document the status of repairs, inspections, and customer concerns
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database and regulatory compliance
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Perform periodic inspections of inventory and incoming equipment
- Travel to multiple client hospital sites (up to 75%)
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
- Valid driver’s license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site
- Complex computer skills, including system administration, error code interpretation, and networking concepts
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills
- 2-year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required

Schedule
Primarily regional travel, with up to 75% travel required.
