About the role
Make an Impact! As a Biomedical Research Assistant, you will assist the Principal Investigator and Research Associate in developing, implementing, and analyzing scientific protocols. You will carry out experiments, maintain a detailed data book of your daily research activities, and perform other duties as assigned. This position focuses on Molecular Biology and supports the Lab of Dr. Matthew Charman.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and analysis of scientific protocols under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and Research Associate.
- Carry out experiments and record detailed data in a research notebook.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of research activities.
- Support the Lab of Dr. Matthew Charman with Molecular Biology experiments.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of laboratory experience preferred.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology techniques and laboratory equipment.
Skills
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay
Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Day shift: 9am-5:30pm, occasional Saturdays.
